Rowing Boats for Hire

New on The Labyrinth is the availability of rowing boats for hire at £70 per week (payable on arrival at lake).

The new boats are constructed from a very tough, moulded green plastic, take a maximum of two persons and come complete with oars, etc.

Bouyancy-jackets are supplied with each boat and these must be worn at all times. Anyone caught, or reported, using a boat and not wearing a bouyancy-jacket will be thrown-off the fishery immediately – risk-takers will not be tolerated – too many anglers have drowned on other lakes in the last few years who think they know better!

A deposit of £30 is also payable when you take a boat and this is refundable when the boat is returned clean and complete with oars. If an oar or rollock is lost or broken, a charge of £10 would be deducted from your deposit and if a bouyancy-jacket is lost there will be a charge of £15.

P.S. If you bring along an echo-sounder, this will help you find the features in your area a lot easier and you can also bait-up more accurately from the boat.
