The
Reedy Bay is similar to The Aviary
in that it gives the angler a huge area to fish. There are very
good areas out in front, slightly to the right on the edge of the
resident weed bed, you then have the entrance to the deep bay on
your left and all the far margins of the 'no fishing' bank.
You
can creep along the far bank, spotting fish and planning your attack.
A good ploy is to cast onto the far bank, walk round pick-up your
rig, wade out and drop it onto a likely-looking spot and carefully
bait around it. Pure magic - especially when a '50' comes cruising
along!
This
swim also enjoys the benefits of KM's Nook. This is an extension
of the Reedy Bay swim and these two swims can only be fished by
one person.
This
gives you the option of quietly fishing the bay's margins for a
few hours in an attempt to fool the carp into thinking that no-one
is in the Reedy Bay swim!
